At Avios we’re committed to web accessibility.
We aim to ensure our website works regardless of the technology, browser or device you use, including making our site accessible if you are blind or partially sighted.
We monitor which browsers, devices, operating systems and screen solutions are being used (anonymously) and how these change over time, so we can make using avios.com easy for you.
We test our site on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. It is usable at resolutions from 320x480 up to 1024 x 768 (or greater).
You can access our site with IE9 and up, Firefox 3.6 and up, Chrome v 11 and up, Safari and Opera. If you are using a test or ‘BETA’ version of a browser and experience problems, please report these to the company supporting the browser so they can make changes for future or live versions of the browser.

How to listen to avios.com
Some operating systems also have built-in accessibility features that can read text aloud or magnify parts of the screen. If you have your own screen reading software, you should find it works well on avios.com. We suggest if your software has a ‘Forms Mode’, that you leave it turned off.
Speed of the website
We know that a fast website is important to you and we work hard to make ours as fast as possible, but there are factors affecting response speeds which are outside our control. They include your connection speed, the performance of your Internet Service Provider, and the amount of traffic on the Internet at the time.
Plug-ins and helpers
Plug-ins and helpers are not required for key functions on our site, but it assumes you have:
- Flash capability – usually installed with the browser
- Adobe Reader for .pdf files
If a plug-in or helper application is required to access content, this will normally be highlighted. Plug-ins can be downloaded using the links below. But if you use the links Avios cannot be held responsible for any associated problems with the plug-ins.
Avios is proud to work with quality travel providers with positive accessibility policies. If you need special assistance with your travel, accommodation or other part of your trip, we’ll work with them to help you.
