What you need to know

A. This offer of Avios through the purchase of an Avios Insurance travel insurance policy ("Offer") is provided by Avios Group (AGL) Limited ("AGL"), a company incorporated in England and Wales whose registered office is at Waterside, Speedbird Way, Harmondsworth, United Kingdom, UB7 0GB, registered company no. 02260073 ("we", "us", "our", "AGL"). These terms govern the Avios promotional offer only. The travel insurance policy is arranged and administered by Open Insurance Services UK Limited (“Open”) as set out below. These Terms and Conditions are effective from [date] and supersede any previous version.
B. To be eligible for this Offer, customers must ("Eligible Participant"):

be at least 18 years old;
be UK resident;
be a member of The British Airways Club ; (“BAC”) and accept the BAC Terms and Conditions;
purchase an Avios Insurance travel insurance policy; and
not have cancelled the policy within 14 days of the date of purchase.
C. To earn Avios, an Eligible Participant must be the main traveller on their Avios Insurance policy and must link the policy to their British Airways Club account by adding their British Airways Club number in the customer portal. Where an Eligible Participant has already linked their British Airways Club account to their email address on a previous Avios Insurance policy, the link will carry across and they do not need to link again.
D. Avios are issued by Avios Group (AGL) Limited and are subject to acceptance of and compliance with AGL’s Terms and Conditions. For further details please visit https://www.avios.com/en-GB/terms-and-conditions. Avios have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, save for redemptions expressly permitted under the AGL’s Terms and Conditions.
E. The Avios award for each eligible policy is the amount shown to the Eligible Participant at the point of sale. The award is set by us and may be a fixed amount or calculated as a rate per £1 of premium paid (excluding Insurance Premium Tax), and may vary by product or on a promotional basis. Any fractional amount is rounded down to the nearest whole Avios. The award is based on the premium for the policy as purchased and does not change following any subsequent mid-term adjustment.
F. Avios will be issued fourteen (14) days after the date of purchase, provided the policy has not been cancelled within the 14-day cooling off period and the Eligible Participant has linked their BAC account. Where the BAC account is linked after that point (and within the 60-day window stated in clause H), Avios will be credited to the Eligible Participant’s BAC account following the linking event. It may take up to forty-five (45) days for the Avios to appear in a member's statement.
G. Where a policy is cancelled within fourteen (14) days of purchase, any Avios already awarded in relation to that policy may be debited from the Eligible Participant’s BAC account.
H. Customers must link their BAC account within sixty (60) days of purchasing the policy to receive the Avios award. Retrospective claims for Avios after this period are not permitted.
I. AGL reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw this Offer at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to Eligible Participants for doing so. Any change will not affect Avios already earned, or any policy purchased before the change takes effect.
J. For missing Avios queries please contact support@insurance.avios.com. Missing Avios claims must be made within ninety (90) days of the date the Avios were due to be issued.
K. AGL reserves the right to terminate an Eligible Participant's participation in this Offer if it believes the Eligible Participant is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if their use is unauthorised, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.
L. Promotional materials form part of these Terms. These Terms and Conditions will prevail in the event of any conflict between these and the promotional materials.
M. Your Avios Insurance policy is arranged and administered by Open Insurance Services UK Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (firm reference number: 988625) and registered in England and Wales (company number: 9365669). You can confirm this on the Financial Services Register at www.fca.org.uk/register. N- If any provision (or part of a provision) of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will apply only to the extent it is valid, or be treated as removed if it cannot apply at all. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. If AGL does not enforce, or delays enforcing, any of its rights under these Terms, that will not mean it has given up that right or any other right, and AGL may still enforce it later.
O. Insofar as is permitted by law, neither AGL will not (or any of our agents or distributors) shall in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate an Eligible Participant, accept any liability to an Eligible Participant (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Offer whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we (or our affiliates) have been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage, personal injury or death. Statutory rights of Eligible Participants are not affected.
P. By taking part in this Offer, Eligible Participants agree to the personal data they supply being used by AGL and Open, or their agents or subcontractors, for the sole purpose of administering this Offer.
Q. This Offer shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts, but not exclusively if the Eligible Participant is a resident of the United Kingdom outside England and Wales; in that case the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland (depending on the Eligible Participant’s jurisdiction) also have jurisdiction.
R. AGL does not assume any responsibility for any typographical, clerical or other error in the administration of the Offer.
S. AGL's decision regarding any aspect of the Offer is final and binding and we will not enter into correspondence with Eligible Participants (or their representatives) about it.
T. This Offer is non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other AGL offer or promotion, unless expressly stated otherwise.
