My cookies are enabled but my purchases still aren’t showing up in my Avios account - why?
Here are some common reasons why Avios may not appear in your account:
A discount code, or referral code was used when shopping
The retailer’s purchase conditions have not been met. You can find these on the individual retailer’s pages.
Some retail partners won’t show in pending transactions and will only appear in your account once they have been awarded.
The Avios shopping website works on a 'last referral' basis, which means it should be the last website you visit before you make your purchase. Clicking the 'shop now' button to visit your selected retailer will open a new tab using a special, unique link, which allows us to track your purchase and award Avios.
Here are some guidelines to help make sure you receive your Avios:
Sign in to your account before clicking on the 'Shop now' button
Complete your purchase online in one session
Don't retrieve previously saved items in your shopping cart; start the process from scratch
Don't click on another banner or website promoting the retailer before completing your transaction
Don't use 'refer a friend' programs
Don't modify or complete your order through the retailer's physical store or over the phone
Disable internet security and ad-blocking software before using the Avios shopping website
Don't use voucher codes that were not provided on the Avios shopping website
Gift card purchases are not eligible for Avios unless stated otherwise
Use the same country's link within the retailer's site for making a purchase
Ensure that you land on the retailer site from British Airways Avios store and accept their cookies
Don't install browser extensions or add-ons from other reward sites
Unless stated otherwise, purchases made through retailer apps will not be eligible for Avios. Please make your purchases through their website via your browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge)
