What happens now the partnership with Flybe has ended?

Flybe are no longer an Avios partner which means, if you joined via Flybe, you will no longer be able to collect or spend your Avios, with Flybe. Any Avios remaining in your account after 30 April 2019 will be lost unless you have previously transferred them to a British Airways Executive account.

If I am a member of Vueling Club or AerClub and collect Avios how does this affect me?

Our partnership with Vueling and Aer Lingus is unaffected by these changes and you can continue to collect and spend Avios as you do today. Your account will stay open and your balance will remain.

If I continued to collect Avios with collection partners until 30 April 2019, will I still receive my pending Avios now the partnership with Flybe has ended?

Yes. You will need to call us on 0844 49 333 75 after you expect to have received the Avios so we can help you move them to your British Airways Executive Club account.

How do I query missing Avios now the partnership has ended?

What if I have an existing Avios booking?

Don’t worry, your booking is safe. If you want to cancel your booking you will be able to in line with our terms and conditions your taxes, fees, charges and Avios will be refunded. Please note, a cancellation fee, of £35 per person, is payable when a cancellation to a booking is made.

What if I have an existing booking made with Flybe?

If you have a query regarding an existing booking, made with Flybe, you must contact the airline directly. Contact Flybe.

Will I be able to make changes to or cancel an existing Avios booking now the partnership has ended?

You will only be able to cancel your booking. In line with our terms and conditions your taxes, fees, charges and Avios will be refunded.

If I have booked a flight that departs after the partnership with Flybe ends, will I still be able to collect the Avios on these flights?

If you joined Avios via Flybe you will not be able to collect Avios on flights booked or flown with Flybe or any other partner airline from 30th April 2019. If you want to continue to collect Avios with a wide range of airline and other partners you may wish to join British Airways Executive Club.

Will I still be able to collect with the same partners with the British Airways Executive Club?

Yes, you will be able to collect in many of the same ways as you do today, plus there will be some exciting new partners to collect with.

Does the British Airways Executive Club have an eStore with the same online shopping retailers?

The majority of the retailers can be found on the British Airways Avios eStore and there are also some new retailers to collect with.

Can I still buy and gift Avios with the British Airways Executive Club?

Will I still get information about new partners and special offers?

Yes. You’ll still receive news about the best ways to collect and spend Avios if you have a British Airways Executive Club, Aer Lingus or Vueling account. You’ll need to give the relevant airline permission to send you marketing messages when you register your new account.

Will I still be able to spend in the same way?

You’ll be able spend in many of the ways you do today, plus you’ll be able to manage your bookings online and spend on oneworld airlines. Find out more.
