What you need to know

BP Pulse is BP's global electric vehicle (EV) charging business, providing public, fleet, and home charging solutions, aiming to be a large rapid/ultra-fast network with hubs at forecourts, retail sites, and destinations, focusing on convenience, speed, and reliability for drivers and businesses in the UK and internationally, operating via an app (PAYG), online pay site, charge cards, and contactless payments.

Avios are not awarded on BP Pulse hardware purchases (including home chargers), fleet account payments, gift cards, refunded transactions, or any non-charging related products or services.

UK and Ireland–issued Visa, MasterCard/Maestro, and Amex cards can be linked as payment cards. PayPal, YoYo Wallet, and store cards are not eligible.

Avios will not be awarded on transactions that are cancelled, refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or deemed invalid. BP Pulse and IAG Loyalty reserve the right to exclude certain locations, charging networks, or promotional rates from Avios eligibility.

Avios collection is eligible on qualifying spend on electric vehicle charging sessions with bp pulse in the UK when payment is made via:

the BP Pulse app (including PAYG and Subscription payments),
the BP Pulse online payment webpage,
or contactless payment at the charger.

Avios are awarded at the following rates:

4 Avios per £1 spent when paying via the BP Pulse app (PAYG or Subscription).
2 Avios per £1 spent when paying via the BP Pulse online payment webpage (Amex only)
2 Avios per £1 spent when paying via contactless payment at the charger.

Simply visit registered cards section to link a payment card. Then you will automatically collect Avios if you use that card to pay for a qualifying EV charging session with BP Pulse via the app, online pay webpage, or contactless payment at the charger. It can take up to 7 days for the Avios to appear in your account.

Only Amex transactions on the website - https://pay.bppulse.com/en-gb/charge-point-select - will earn rewards. VISA and Mastercard are excluded for online payments.
