Can I extend my Companion Voucher?
Companion Vouchers can only be extended in limited circumstances and requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Extensions of up to three months may be considered for:
Airline flight cancellations,
Srious illness
High-risk pregnancy
Bereavement of an immediate family member
Career or job-related exemptions
Carer responsibilities supported by medical evidence
Illness affecting an immediate family member who was due to travel
Natural disasters and significant socio-political events affecting travel plans
Supporting documentation may be required.
