Why do I need to verify my identity?

We have introduced an additional measure to verify your identity and keep your Avios secure.

Most transfers will not need extra steps, but we may ask for identity verification at random or for certain transactions.

In most cases this is a one-time check. We may ask you to verify again occasionally for security reasons.
