Why has my transaction been cancelled?
Avios may be cancelled for various reasons, including:
You have returned your purchased product to the retailer
There has been a payment failure or failure to meet the retailer's credit check requirements
New registration was not deemed genuine
The last click before visiting the retailer's page was not the Avios shopping website.
The transaction does not meet the retailer's terms and conditions
A coupon code not listed on the British Airways online store was used, making the transaction ineligible for Avios
The retailer site cookies were not accepted
Changes were made to your purchase which meant fewer Avios were awarded
In these cases, your original transaction may be cancelled and your new Avios amount credited to your account.
