Who can gift Avios?

Anyone with a British Airways Club account that is at least 18 years old, and either has an account balance of at least one Avios, or has a balance of zero Avios but has collected or redeemed at least one Avios in the last three years.

Please note: Avios are available to purchase worldwide, with the exception of Germany.
