Avios Black Friday

To collect bonus Avios this Black Friday, you must be a member of British Airways Club, AerClub or Iberia Club. If you’re not a member, you can sign up for free.

Once you’re a member, you can start collecting Avios through the Avios shopping website.

Log in to your account before accessing Avios online shopping, select a retailer and click the 'Shop Now' button.

Each retailer decides how much Avios to award and this will be stated clearly on their page, e.g. 1 Avios / £1 or €1 means you’ll collect 1 Avios for every £1 or €1 you spend, minus tax and shipping and handling changes.

Remember to always access the retailer's site through the Avios shopping website or app, so your Avios can be tracked.

Bonus Avios will be credited to your account in a separate transaction, once the qualifying transaction has been approved. Any bonus Avios will be awarded within the same timeframe as the standard Avios.

We use cookies to track your purchases and award Avios to your account, so make sure that these are enabled on your internet browser and disable any ad-blocker extensions.

You should also accept the retailer site cookies to ensure that you collect Avios.

Once you've logged in to your British Airways Club account on the Avios website, use the 'link my card' feature.

This means you'll be able to collect Avios when using your linked card at participating in-store retailers.

In-store retailers are excluded from the 50% bonus Avios offer.

The amount of Avios you collect will depend on a number of factors, including which retailer you are buying from and their Black Friday offer.

The Avios website and partner websites outline how many Avios you'll collect for purchases with participating retailers. In most cases, this will be expressed as a number of Avios collected per £/€1 spent at the retailer.

For example, if the retailer is offering 2 Avios per £/€1 spent, and your transaction total is £50 (excluding any taxes and shipping) you can expect to collect 100 Avios. If the transaction takes place during the 50% bonus campaign period you will also earn a 50% bonus once the qualifying transaction is approved. The total earned in the example transaction will be 150 Avios (100 from the original transaction and 50 Avios from the 50% bonus campaign). Bonus Avios will be credited to your account in a separate transaction.

Sometimes, you may collect Avios for a single purchase or registering for a service, but not for subsequent actions or purchases.

You won't collect Avios on the cost of shipping, handling, or taxes (e.g VAT) associated with a purchase. Avios are only collected on the actual amount spent on the product or service.

Customers will receive 50% bonus Avios on any qualifying transaction they make via ‘Shopping online’ merchants when Shopping on avios.com ( www.avios.com/en-GB/collect-avios/shopping/retailers/ ) or ‘Shopping online’ merchants via the Avios app.

Categories excluded: Travel, utilities and telecoms, banking and insurance plus the following merchants: The Bicester Collection, Royal Caribbean, Avios for Thoughts, The Wine Flyer, Avios Shop – The Edit products (incl. Apple & all travel luggage and accessories), Nectar, The High Life Shop, BP, Club Avolta, Uber, Hello Fresh, Wanda and eRewards.

The 50% bonus for John Lewis & Partners will only be available for transactions registered between 24th November and 7th December 2025.

Bonus Avios will be calculated based on the Avios earn associated with any qualifying transaction.

A qualifying transaction is where at least one Avios is earned from a single transaction excluding shipping, handling and VAT. Check your ‘Activity’ on Avios.com or via the 'Account' tab on the Avios app for the registered transaction amount.

Bonus Avios will be credited to your account in a separate transaction, once the qualifying transaction has been approved. Any bonus Avios will be awarded within the same timeframe as the standard Avios.

We reserve the right to remove Avios (including any bonus Avios) on purchases that are subsequently refunded, cancelled or if we suspect fraud.
