Linking your accounts means you can transfer Avios between your different airline accounts to use your Avios on a wider range of flights and offers.

To do this, you will need to have an account with both the airline programmes you want to move Avios between. You can move Avios between British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Qatar, Vueling, Loganair and Finnair.

Visit Transfer Avios and follow the simple instructions to link your accounts.

Both of your accounts will need to be active for 30 days before you are able to transfer Avios between them.

To make sure you can link your accounts there are a couple of things you need to check:

If your accounts have been active for at least 30 days and all your details are correct then please contact the relevant airline loyalty programme if the issue continues.

Yes. Being part of a Household Account doesn't stop you from linking your airline loyalty programme accounts.

Each Household Account member can link their own airline loyalty programme accounts, as long as their personal details match across the accounts.

You can only move the Avios that belong to you. You can't link, access or move Avios from another member's airline loyalty programme account, even if you're part of the same Household Account.

If you have Avios in more than one airline loyalty programme, you can link your accounts to move your Avios between them. This gives you more flexibility to spend your Avios across participating airlines.

To link your accounts:

You can move Avios between participating programmes, including British Airways Club, Iberia Club, AerClub, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Vueling Club, Loganair Loyalty and Finnair Plus.

Before you can move Avios, both accounts must have been active for at least 30 days.

No*. Once accounts are linked, they cannot be unlinked. Please ensure that your personal details are correct and that you wish to link the accounts before completing the process.

*BA Club members may still unlink their Qatar Privilege Club and Finnair Plus accounts.

If you've forgotten your British Airways Club password, you can reset it on the British Airways website.

Select Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and follow the instructions. Make sure you use the email address that's registered to your British Airways Club account.

If you no longer have access to that email address or you're still unable to sign in after resetting your password, you'll need to contact British Airways for further support.

You can update most of your personal details by signing in to your British Airways Club account on ba.com and going to Your profile.

Some details need extra verification to help protect your account:

Email address – Update it using British Airways' online email change form. Name or date of birth – You'll need to provide proof of identity using the British Airways supporting documents form, or contact British Airways via WhatsApp where available.

If you're part of a Household Account

Only the Head of the Household can update the Household Account address. If you've moved to a different address, you'll need to leave the Household Account before you can update your own address.

MFA adds an extra layer of protection to help safeguard accounts from fraud. Even if a password is compromised, the account remains protected by an additional verification step.

MFA is required when prompted. You will not need to complete it every time you log in, only when required by security checks.

No, MFA is mandatory when prompted for security reasons.

When prompted during login, you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up MFA.

Yes, your selected method is available across multiple devices. Biometrics can also be registered on more than one device.

You need to contact the support team via WhatsApp and request an MFA reset. After the reset, you can register again with a new number or device.

All MFA methods will be removed. You will be prompted to enrol again when MFA is required during login.

No, updating your contact details in your account does not update your MFA. MFA details must be reset and re-registered separately.

If it is asking for a one-time code, this may be generated by an authenticator app you have downloaded to your device.

Please note, this will not pop up on your device screen. You will need to open your authenticator app and retrieve the code.

This can be any authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or PingID.
